Dairy-Free Dining: Plant-Based Chocolate Mickey Mousse Cake - Beach Club Marketplace

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better than the Oreo Mousse Disney releases this beauty! They have me eating out of the palm of their hands lately...literally.

What we have here is the Plant-Based Chocolate Mickey Mousse Cake ($4.79) which does, in fact, need a shorter name, but aside from that minute detail, this thing is pretty much perfect. We start with a thin layer of Chocolate Cake which is then topped with a thick, creamy and cool Chocolate Mousee shaped into a dome which then gets adorned with two chocolate pieces (think chocolate coins).

This dessert is pretty sizeable especially considering its price. It's not overly huge but it's a comfortable serving for one person and when you compare it to the plant-based dessert over at Mama Melrose which is $8 for two teaspoons of food, this is really a bargain.

Disney really knows how to make a good vegan mousse and I'm excited that different variations of this dessert are popping up because it's my personal favorite and a rare thing to find. This particular cake can be found in the refrigerator section of the Beach Club Marketplace. Remember, you can always pop over while making your way through World Showcase, especially since the dairy-free options are pretty lackluster in the dessert department at Food & Wine this year...and also World Showcase in general.
